The Dig Site

Kids can climb, slide and play on an archaeologically themed playground near the Dig Site complex. This play area is for the enjoyment of children ages 2-12 years old. Supervise children at all times.

Many of our parks and Disney Resort hotels grow flower gardens specially designed to attract local butterflies—and it’s working! Walt Disney World Resort is home to more than 70 butterfly species. Discover an abundance of native butterflies fluttering through our gardens all year round. Come see how many native species you can spot at Coronado Springs!

Beach Fun

Relax in a beach chair or swaying hammock and enjoy a beautiful view of Lago Dorado! Bring along some sand toys and kids can build sandcastles on the beach. Note that guests are restricted to sand areas only, and swimming in Lago Dorado is not permitted.

Daily from 10:00 AM-10:00 PM | Siesta’s Pool Bar

Join a friendly match on the white-sand court by the Dig Site pool complex. Volleyballs can be checked out from Siesta’s pool bar by Guests with a valid Resort ID.
