Closures & Refurbishments:

The Skyway Bridge will be closed from January 2025 through March 2025 as part of the ongoing Bay Lake Tower refurbishment. Please allow additional time to travel alternate paths between resort buildings.

From Sept. 2024-Sept. 2025, room refurbishment work will take place in Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. During the refurbishment, Guests will see and hear construction work throughout Bay Lake Tower.

From January 26, 2026 through early May 2026, the entire courtyard pool complex of Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort will be closed. This includes the Bay Cove Pool, whirlpool spa and the kids water play area. These amenities are normally available only to guests staying in Bay Lake Tower. During the closure, the Contemporary Resort's main pool and the Bay Lake Pool will be available to guests staying in the tower's DVC villas.
