Watch incredibly skilled woodcarving artists carving detailed African animals and other works of art. These items are available for purchase once they’re completed.

When you watch the animals in the main viewing areas, there is often a Savanna Guide nearby! Chat with a guide to learn more about the animals and their habitat. You might even discover some of the stars of the Disney+ show, Magic of Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

Discover over 30 species of African wildlife, including zebras, giraffes, kudu, and flamingos. Identify each species with the Wildlife Spotting Guide and learn more about African animals.

Look for the savanna viewing area on the second floor of Zebra Trail, near the elevator. Enjoy a close-up view of the animals on Arusha Savanna!

Guests wanting to learn more about African animals and different African cultures and traditions are in luck! Animal Care Cast Members can often be found in the lobby ready to share various educational displays and quiz guests on their animal knowledge, and Cultural Ambassador Cast Members from Africa are always glad to share more about their homeland!

Jambo House & Kidani Village

Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is home to the largest collection of African Art outside of the African continent. With more than 800 pieces of art and artifacts displayed throughout the resort, you can find beautiful art pieces everywhere you look. Don’t miss the centerpiece of the Jambo House lobby - the 16-foot-tall Igbo Ijele mask!

Keep an eye out for surprise appearances by some favorite Disney pals, who will be dropping by to visit with guests at Disney Resort hotels.

Disney Pin Trading is an exciting, interactive experience where our Guests can trade Disney pins with our Disney Cast Members and other Guests. It's fun for the whole family! Start a new collection or exchange pins for the ones you've always wanted.

At Animal Kingdom Lodge, pin boards can be found at merchandise shops, the Front Desk, Kidani Village Community Hall, and Simba’s Activity Center.

Collect all 33 Walt Disney World Transportation Cards including Bus, Watercraft, Monorail, Tram, and Minnie Van!

At Animal Kingdom Lodge, cards are available from bus drivers and Minnie Van drivers.

Kids can monkey around at this playground overlooking the flamingo area and savanna.

This play area is designed for the enjoyment of children ages 2-12 years old. Supervise children at all times.
